Back at it!

So, I haven't blogged in a while...shame on me! I really don't know where the last week went?!? I really didn't do anything all that exciting or ground breaking. I haven't cleaned my house (which it needs really, really badly), I didn't get all the laundry done and I still haven't gotten all of my homework done which is due tomorrow. I guess I've just lost time hanging out with my boy. He really is so much fun and I find the time just flies when I'm hanging out with him. And who wouldn't!?!? Don't you just love those cheeks! I know I do and can't seem to stop kissing them. And he's just getting bigger and bigger every day. Grant and I were having a good time last night watching video when he was first born...aaaawwwwww...he was so little. The little sounds he made, the newborn cry. So precious! Man, I never knew he would grow up this fast?!

What a Weekend!

This past weekend I got to spend time with my family...uninterrupted, continuous time with my family. It was great! I stayed at my sister's house from Thursday night to Sunday afternoon and man did we have fun. Watching my adorable niece, Alayna, love up her cousin (my son) Brendan was priceless.

Friday we headed out to the Minnesota State Fair. It was a beautiful day for hanging out with the masses at the fair...and we ate like champs! My parents even joined us for most of the day...awesome to have them around. It did get really warm out and especially warm in the buildings, so Brendan ended up in just his diaper. It was so cute! We had a great day...but were glad when we headed home for some rest and naps.

And play time with Laynie! She loves her cousin...to the point where we have to hold her back from mauling him. If she could, she would hug and suck his face (she's not into kissing yet...she bascially sucks...or licks) all day if she was allowed! Man or man I can't wait to see these two at Christmas this year...
