Where does the time go??? Part 6

This will be the last post of the day...I promise! ;D At the end of March, we got to go with Grant's parents to the Season Ticket Holder Open House at the new Twins Stadium. We met up with my parents and had a great time touring the new home of the Twins and sampling the food offerings!

Getting his first look of the field from the concourse area...

Sitting "near" our seats...this is about 10th or 11th row, we are actually in about 18th row! Great seats no matter what :D

Grandpa Jim got B this bat at the store!

Woohoo!!!

This best picture of all!!! My little slugger all ready to cheer on the Twins in their new stadium.

Where does the time go??? Part 5

I found exactly what we were looking for in a train table set!!! It was located in Anoka and when we arrived at the seller's house to pick it up, it was a high school classmate of mine that had it. Small World!!! Brendan LOVES his trains and there has not been a day since we got it that B doesn't get up and instantly want to play with his trains. He gets up and says "Good Morning" to his choo-choos and he waves to them and says "Ni-Ni" to them before going to bed. We got a FANTASTIC deal on the whole set, too!

We have since added about 12 or so more trains to the mix, so B will never be without a ton of fun awaiting his choo-choo play!

Where does the time go??? Part 4

So, as if all that was not enough...Hahahahahaha!!!

I had been searching Craigslist for sometime for a Thomas and Friends train table with track and trains and building included. One day my search led us to buy this...in Isanti!

Brendan is his own little train conductor and loves his train rider!
Brendan and Plex talking with Thomas...

Loving the light...
More riding...

And then...

Where does the time go??? Part 3

We made it to Target Center and Brendan picked out a Yo Gabba Gabba T-shirt and Daddy picked out a CD! Here he is modeling his new Yo Gabba Gabba things:

We had a nice little snack of popcorn before the show and Brendan LOVED it! He had never really eaten popcorn before this, though, so I had no idea he would love it as much as he did.

Each seat had a pair of DJ Lance Rock glasses to wear, so here is Grant channeling DJ Lance...

And Mommy! :D Notice that B still has the ball that he won earlier at the Twins Stadium in his hands.

And then the show started!!! Brendan loved every minute of it...

Watching the show intently!

And then they dropped balloons on the crowd (of which we STILL have one that is fully inflated in our house) and there were enough balloons that kids could take a TON of them home. Brendan spied the balloons right away hanging suspended on the ceiling. During the opening of the show he kept on looking up to the balloons to see if they would fall. When they finally did he was in heaven!

BALLOONS!!!!

Where did our kid go? He's covered in balloons!!!

This kid LOVES Balloons...

LOVE IT!

Here's Brobee flying with the help of his balloons :D

Dancey dance time...the dancey dance friend for the show was Slug from Atmosphere (at least I think that was his name?!?) Auntie Jenn was very excited that it was him...

And then it was Biz Markie's "Biz's Beat of the Day" time and he had all the kids in the VIP section try the Biz's Beat...it was awesome! :D

The show was great...but then it was time to go...Here's DJ Lance waving goodbye to everyone once Muno, Foofa, Plex, Brobee and Toodee were all safe in their case.

Buh-bye Gabba Gang...we had fun!!!

Where does the time go??? Part 2

The day of the Yo Gabba Gabba Live show, there was an event at the new Twins Stadium that we checked out...

Brendan and Grant in line for the ball toss...once we got up there, Brendan grabbed a ball and then everyone was trying to get him to throw it. He started crying because he had waited in line to get a ball and now these people are trying to get me to throw it!!! Needless to say he did get a ball and then was super excited about it.

Here he is with his hard earned ball! :D

Brendan and Grant in the Gold Glove...aren't they so cute!

At the front gates of the stadium.

Brendan decorating a pennant. The girls that were helping with this were fawning over B and helping him out, it was so cute!
It was a little chilly, so once he was done with this...we headed to the Target Center to find our seats for the show.

Where does the time go???

It's now April and I can't believe that I didn't get on here to update with all we've done over the last month! But boy were we busy! Playdates, Mall of America Trips, Yo Gabba Gabba Live, going to see the new Twins Stadium, the Northwest Sportshow, more playdates and finally Easter. And...April is shaping up to be just as busy. Whew...here are a few pictures from the last few months :D

First off...our trip to the Mall of America to see DJ Lance Rock and Brobee at a Toddler Tuesday event. Brendan gave DJ Lance 2 highfives and DJ Lance waved at him and said "Hi!" to him from on stage!
There is only 1 DJ Lance Rock and here he is!!!

BROBEE!!!...
He looks terrified in this picture, but he is actually so excited to see Brobee in real life!!!

DJ Lance reading a story to the gathered crowd.

B listening to DJ Lance's story.
This was on the 2nd Tuesday of March...the following Saturday we had tickets to the Yo Gabba Gabba Live show at the Target Center!
