Last week

I can't believe another week has flown by! It was actually a pretty fun week with some awesome garage saling on Thursday and family get togethers Saturday and Sunday.

I made a killing at garage sales in the White Bear Lake/Hugo areas on Thursday. At one garage sale I bought a whole new wardrobe for Baby Brendan...complete with a Buzz Lightyear costume and some toys. (Just so you know...my husband and I are complete Disney Freaks and are already planning a trip in the fall to have Baby Brendan meet Mickey Mouse!)

We spent Saturday hanging out with my family for Father's Day. (picture at left is my Dad holding Brendan, my Mom and my niece Alayna, she's 9 months old) We had a very nice bbq and it was a gorgeous afternoon. Then we hung out at Grant's parents house for a bbq on Sunday evening. Again, very nice day and just a nice little quiet family gathering.

Grant got out to fish twice over the weekend, but was skunked both times. He had fun, but was a little discouraged after the outings.

This week is going to be a nice relaxing one...no appointments or really any other real big plans. My parents will be coming up tomorrow (my dad is playing tennis with some friends and my mom and I will take a walk with Baby Brendan and Mr. Pibb, our dog) and after the activities, we will go out for lunch and celebrate my mom's birthday. Then on Friday my mom, sister, niece and grandma will come up to visit us. My Grandma has not had the chance to meet Baby Brendan yet, so it will be a really nice visit.
